Medical University Rijeka
Medical University Rijeka was founded in 1955 and it is the odlest School of University of Rijeka. It is located in the very city center, in a building that was constructed by Antonio brothes and Constantino Branchetta at the beginning of 20th century.
On the faculty, there are 4 different university studies. Along side medicine there are Dental Medicine, Sanitary Engineering and Organization, Planning and Management in Health programmes, the first of its kind in Croatia. There are also 5 professional studies: nursing, physiotherapy, medical – laboratory diagnostics, medical radiology and midwifery.
Students of this University can opt in to join one o 3 organizations. Along side Croatian Medical Student’s International Committee (CroMSIC), there are European Medical Students’ Association Croatia (EMSA) Rijeka and FOSS MedRi.
