IDAHOBIT
The Comitee for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights including HIV and AIDS (SCORA), as part of the International Assosiation of Medical Students CroMSIC, has been successfully marking one of the most important events within its committee for several years in a row, the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexphobia and Transfobia (IDAHOBIT).
To celebrate this day, we present various activities over the course of a week, including public health booths for our students and citizens, educational panels, interactive quizzes, and many other event, all aimed at raising awareness about discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community and creating a daily life where such discrimination is not tolerated and a life in which individuals will not be victims of belittling, judgment and oppression.
Year after year, we recognize the need to present this topic to students, future doctors, who will often encounter members of the LGBTQ+ population in their practice, which is why we are extremely proud of this long-standing project and why we strive to improve and refine it.
